Maidana has gotten better with Garcia granted, but what Alexander did to Maidana he can do again and Floyd could have done the same thing, the problem is Alexander just popped and held all night and made it boring, Floyd's bull****ting a little when he says he did it for us but at the same time he's right, he doesn't do a lot of the stuff he can do to make a fight a lot easier because he can't afford to **** up PPV ratings and be boring as hell...we all know Floyd has the ability to run around the ring, slip out of corners, and hold all night and box ur head off, he's done it a million times before, but he let Maidana work on the inside unlike Alexander adn I honestly think Alexander adn Floyd can both do that to him again if they choose to

This right here is spot on^^^ Nobody can take anything away from Maidana, but the truth is Floyd cant always choose to fight like Andre Ward or Rigo because he has 3 more PPVs to sell without help from PacMan we can all assume. When he fought Canelo he didn't have to do much because the fight sold it self with Canelo's fan base and his, but with Maidana not being a huge name, he was going to have to keep it interesting if he wants people to buy his next PPV. That being said, it made for a great fight. Why else would Floyd stay in the pocket with a guy weighing 17 more pounds than him and a 80 percent KO ratio? I bet my life he wouldn't fight Pac like that because the fight would sell it self and the most important thing would be winning

I'm not interested in seeing Alexander grab and hold again all night. That's boring safety first crapola IMO. I hope Marcos gets another shot at Floydie, this time without the Floydie Whinearama about the gloves. Geez, wadda big baby he is 24/7/365.

A question to ALL of you - Why would Devon call out a man he already beat INSTEAD of the man who ABUSED him (Porter)? But, Devon's that dude tho - SMDH......

Fighting Devon was Maidana's first move to WW and he didn't come in at 165 on fight night - he had to adjust to the weight.
I'm not going to say that Marcos is a completely new fighter but he has more facets to his game now than he had before teaming up with Garcia. Plus, Garcia gives real instructions in the corner - Miguel Diaz (his former trainer) barely did that.

Diaz clearly didn't have a game plan against Alexander since Maidana decided to stand in the center and try to box with Devon instead of walking him down using his underrated jab - a jab that he now utilize more often under Garcia's wings.

Also, Devon throws combinations - like Amir Khan. Both of them were able to stun and make Maidana reset every time he wanted to get close. Garcia knows that Floyd likes to throw one precise punch at a time, therefore he wanted Chino to come in at his highest weight (165lbs) so he could walk through those single punches and force Floyd to the ropes - the ropes were Chino's golden ticket.

Always better being a smart ass than a dumb one. With that said, isn't a rematch clause standard? Why didn't Devon exercise that? Also, can you provide a link for that "calling out" for me? Thanks much in advance!
