Now we know what floyd and JCC jr were discussing when they were together at the Lakers game.

Good move by JCC. He sees he can maek huge money on his own. He is a "big" enough fighter that he can take on Bob and get what he wants.

I'll say this-if Bob loses JCC and Mikey he's in real trouble.

Bob Arum takes 27% from each of his fighters purse!! Manager takes 33%, Uncle Sam takes 30%, trainer takes 10%, this doesn't leave much for a fighter. Al Haymon takes ONLY 10% of a fighters purse!

For once I can side with Arum, how much money has this fool cost his promoter? He cost himself how much of his own purses to date? He's been suspended, called out by his trainer, called out by his own father pretty much and has turned his family name into mush..whoever is giving him more money can enjoy the headache. This kid had the tools to be something to really come out from under the silver spoon tagline that's followed him his entire life...what'd he do...he reinforced it.

Nicely put,I think the kid has always been over rated, when he fights 168,175+ champs he going to get beat up and than he is going to quit. If he would have fighting there like two years ago he might be getting that money.

I will say it again Al Haymon is not a boxing person/ richard schaefer is not a boxijg person . This is the formula for moving fwd in the sport ! They take care of their fighters, they call out judges. They are not into ****ing 1 fighter at a time, meaning they make $ off their collection of fighters - big difference and their business practices are exploiting how corrupt this game is. Bob Arum ia horrible, Don King is horrible, Saurland is horrible, frank Warren is horrible - these outfits need to be removed and the best way to do it is to sign everybody up that you can ! I have yet to hear 1 bad thing about Haymon atleast from the people that matter not the hating posters on this site. imagine if Manny would have lwft top rand a couple years ago (he would not have lost Marquez because he would have been advised to stay away from a fourth fight against a fighter that can go life and death with you, and he would not have lost the first bradley fight.) The first bradley fight was such a travesty because during the second fight they kept posting the #'s comparing to tje firat fight and the dominance was identical - Arum see's his stable depleting his fighters are in a round robin now pac vs marquez / pac vs bradley / bradley vs marquez / pac vs rios /bradley vs pac ll / rios vs alverado / rios vs alverado ll / bradley vs russian / russian vs alverado / marquez vs alverado so on and so forth - all setup by bob arum so his company can stay relevant and continue to fool the public

This isn't Top Rank, it's a but of fighters ducking the people they don't want to face. Adonis Stevenson did it and now Chavez is going to jump ship and move to Showtime. People can say all they want about Arumb being a dirtbag etc... HBO/Showtime are COMPANIES who need to make money, paying your fighters insane purses that will never make revenue will ruin the sport and make the fighters rich. This sounds great, but once the networks say we aren't paying that anymore, we don't make money they'll jump ship back to HBO or vice-versa. Competition is a good thing, but when all these vagina's start ducking the best fights to simply make literrally 10-20% more it's quite pathetic. Also, you have one company stealing all the other ones talent and somehow Top Rank are the dirty promoters lol.

Well put, now maybe people can see what Floyd was saying, why put more money in Bob pocket. At the end of the year when pac is free from this fool I can see Floyd and Pac fighting, that is if Pac walk.

wow over 2 million??? that's terrible........chavez jr definitely deserves 10+ million to fight the veras of the world...

i mean after all he deserves it...no other fighter misses weight like he can, no other fighter shows the lack of commitment to the sport like he can, no other fighter has a dwindling fan base like he does, and no fighter misses/fails drug tests like he can...

over $2 million for such a great fighter is a disgrace......honestly.....he should go with aluminati haymon where he can get paid right for fighting easy fights.....

Dude is an anchor for HBO views right now, so Showtime could definitely use him.
