I would alway side with the boxer when it comes to money, especially against a promoter. The "Sign an extension" before you can get this fight sort of deal is pretty much annoying but it's part of the business of promoters and this is why I back the fighters when they want more money....it's business also for the fighters.

All the goons who are not taking the punches these guys are taking will side with the promoters, even after watching countless legends go broke because of crooked promoters. How many times have we seen boxers taking them to court for stealing their money? Good to see Chavez jr looking out for his own, and good that Chavez sr is looking out for him, too. These boxers should wise up. If Pac doesn't wise up himself, he will go broke, too. Good looking out, Chavez jr. We see Bob dodged the Pac/May fight because he doesn't want to open his books to negotiate fairly all the while robbing Pac.

he should be happy arum is offering him an extension, after GGG is done with him, atleast he still have a contract.. though i am with him to take a substantial amount for fighting GGG.
as for Mikey, why file a case against your promoter just because you will be fighting a strong opponent? what's with the boxers this day? everybody wants to have a say on who he wants to fight next.. they are prize fighters and they should be fighting whoever put in front of them for the right amount of money..

I respect the stand he's taking. I only wish something here will rub off on Manny. He's at the end of his career and needs to make as much money as he can possibly make before it's over, and he has to know it won't be with Arum and do what's right for himself. He's a big enough star that he doesn't need to be under a promoter.
