My bad dude I guess now the world makes senses. No need for the fight to happen anymore folks. Roach admits they fck up and this automatically makes Mayweather the winner by ko
If you don't care so much why are you in this thread wasting time?

The thing that bums me out the most about this is that this had trilogy written all over it. I think May would have won the first fight in a fight that looked similar to the Cotto fight, but with more damage inflicted on both sides. This would have set up a perfect rematch, etc...
I'm 34 and my generation certainly saw some epic trilogies (Gatti-Ward, Holyfield-Bowe, Barrera-Morales, Pac-Marquez (IV), etc...). It just pisses me off when egos and other b.s. cloud rationality :/

True and for that I apologize for my incoherent gibirish. All I'm saying is this kind of things shouldn't even matter at this point. The fight hasn't happened and unless we all don't stop arguing the fight well never happen.

Our "arguing" has no effect on whether the fight happens or not.

so true, there is i beleive a fear in manny's corner that floyd could seriously damage pac in a fight.

you should read that article why i fixed fights to understand a little more why the fight hasn't happened yet.

pac is being protected by his people who know he would be brutally beaten by floyd.

I mean, Manny wanted a full 30 days with zero testing and Mayweather wanted 14 when they should have never been a cut off any way. Manny balked and walked and signed the Clottey fight days later.
Sure it was. That's why when they agreed, Floyd decided to bring up another roadblock about the financial split. Now it's Bob Arum even though Bob Arum has been involved in all previous negotiations. What next? Pacquaio's mother can't be at the fight in case she puts a hex on Floyd?

I mean how many things are you gonna slurp up before you realise this is all hot air?

stop it, there would have been no trilogy. there wouldn't even had been a rematch. no one would pay $70 to see a guy lose 12 straight rounds again. If Floyd would have beaten Manny years ago, this wouldn't even be a discussion today. it would have just moved on to the next guy Floyd was "ducking" or "scared" of.

Bob's been an issue. You can look up interviews from 09 where Floyd is expressing his reluctance to deal with Arum again. Why i'ts such a sticking point now is because he does not have to deal with Arum for this fight to be made. Ignore me though because what I'm saying makes no sense.

Martinez was not going to fight Cotto out of principle because he felt disrespected as the champion. Eventually he realised that he'd had to give in to a diva's demands.

Pacquaio maybe should have done the same. Although the fight wouldn't have happened anyway.
