GBP doesn't get paid but the fighter who they pay and his manager do? Hmm doesn't really make any sense

Golden Boy gets paid a fee, that's it. They don't take part in all the profits and revenue surround his fights, whether it be the soda, popcorn, tickets, PPV, etc. But if the fight takes a loss, Golden Boy also loses nothing.

Foreal. That's what there saying. Supposedly the shareholders weren't to happy with the deals made in 2013. Profit wasn't to pretty for being the biggest promoters last year.ton of money thrown in one direction, maybe there's not enuff to go around

Or this. I was just going off of a couple insiders of the sport.

Your guarantee is what you get if there is a lost or break-even.
Who gives a **** if Floyd pays for it, it's CBS and Showtime they are the one who PAY FLOYD. Floyd is small time compared to these corporations... no one was even talking about Floyd making money.

Cant we all just get along...cotto vs mosely, pavlik vs hopkins, pacquaio vs barerra 2, were all big fights co-promoted by both toprank and gbp....now everything between the 2 companies revolves around the mayweather vs pacquaio fight, where no one wants to be on the b side, which is what all this crap is about....if pac or mayweather retire i believe toprank and gbp will start to co promote again....imo

Top Rank specifically Bob Arum has been using Floyd's name to promote his fighters since Floyd left all them years ago. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

How can they sue if the PPV numbers are low? Those people are at home and never saw the signage..

They'll say due to their lack of exposure of the fight, their numbers are low.

Might not be the case, but it's a reason to take them to court.

Arum said they had a contract with the MGM to display their stuff for the fight
