Again, i don't want my comments now to diminish my compliment for Canelo being accepting this fight. Said that let me tell you that Shane Mosley, Cotto or Martinez are old guys with a name but they are not real threats to an elite fighter in his prime. Also, Angulo was an easy fight for Canelo who picked the one who lost and not Lara who won. Trout never impress me. He won Cotto who as I said he is not anymore an elite fighter and as you may see Canelo and Lara won this guy. Mayweather is an exception because he is from another galaxy and due to his revenues no one cares about loosing with him. Canelo was not protected from Mayweather for the revenues and because is not so bad loose with him for a fighter reputation. On the contrary, being picked by him is better for a fighter reputation. But besides Mayweather all the other grandpas and losers not shows the level of quality he must have for almost 40 winnings and 1 lost. This Lara fight is really a threat for him where fans can bet with a high uncertainty when doing the bets due to the quality of both fighters.

You keep saying this. That Canelo is a ducker because he wanted to fight Cotto or Martinez. But if Lara beats Canelo, who do you think he is going to want to fight?
Do you think he is going to want to fight Molina again or a chance at Cotto/Martinez?

I keep seeing all these "I told you so" posts supporting Nelo taking this fight. People, save your breathe. Nelo didn't need this to validate himself. He's done the damn thing in his career. And the only people that were discrediting this kid are the people that hate him because he lost to Floyd. So in their minds, he'll forever be a bum. Unless of course he fights Pacquiao. Then he'll become a monster.

keep in mind canelo is only 23 and is not even in his prime yet... name other fighters at his age willing to make all the fights i just pointed to you...
you can only fight them one at a time and to call him a ducking teacher is a bit too much... but then again look at laras resume and he doesnt has a solid win vs a decent opponent that was comming off a win... you can make any excuse but it is what it is...

If Lara wins and later he begin to use Canelo's ducking books I wont defend him like you did with Canelo. I wont be happy listen from Russian, Mexicans or Puertorricans that Lara is being protected. I always know that CAnelo is not an easy fight but if LAra wins as I think he should not do the same because at the end those excuses are not credible when everybody knows the fighter is ducking

You are right brother. My respects to Canelo but I think Lara will outclass this boy. This was the fight I wanted to see. I hope that Mickey Mouse also find some balls and fight Gamboa once his ducking teacher Canelo is no more on this path

Yes , Robert has been beaten and has seen his fighters be beaten by Cubans and he will not let Mickey has the same fate with Gamboa .
Rumor here in miami is rigo going with Haymon , think that if Haymon offers the rat , arum , some money , he will step aside and maybe we could see rigo and santacruz on the undercard , rigo last fight with arum on the 19th .
Rigo , Lara and Gamboa beat these guy .
