thaty said, guru allowed people to steal. 10 pounds a month for boxnation, right? american ppv are $70, which is probably around 40-45 pounds. i'm sure that guru allowed people to "steal" hundreds of thousands over the course of the several years he operated. maybe more. several thousand people used to watch the major cards on guru. that's a ton of money being lost every saturday.
The lost money probably wont even be put back into the sport...
Other streams will emerge and ask yourself this why do people go to streaming sites?
Boxnation is a cheap enough channel to run but...
Skysports can set you back 80-90 pound a month, ontop of having to pay for TV license 160 a year the other channels such as BT sports £10 then Boxnation £10 and all whilst trying to manage your bills and buying food...

If anyone is the criminals its the people setting the prices at unfair rates.

He didn't get arrested because of the Boxing streams, I noticed his last tweets were about Wrestlemania and he was streaming that event, I noticed boxing promoters like Arum and Oscar don't really give a crap about these illegal streams, the guys who seem to care are WWE and UFC.

In fairness i don't think a channel like boxnation is charging much more than they have to. Its catering to a niche market after all

Sky sports is pricey but you get a hell of lot with it (though less and less these days with BT sport taking epl and cl games).

My biggest problem is having to fork out for the other channels on the basic sky package which are filled with crapola 24/7.

just a matter of time, so this criminalization of guru will become an embarrassment to the legal system in the future..
Doubt it these organisations are too greedy, subscription fees would have to be enabled for them to allow that to be the case.

For those critizing the PPV format, that is your personal stance and way of justifying piracy which is not the solution. Sure, there has been an increase in PPVs and perhaps not all are PPV worthy but that doesn't mean that piracy is the answer.

Support the sport you follow and enjoy. Showtime and HBO are around $30 monthly and you get plenty of quality boxing in HD, well worth the money. If you can't pay for a PPV, then go to the theater or to a bar or pay less for the SD version. Most of you spend $50-$70 on meaningless crap anyways.

Again, piracy has no place in boxing. I like seeing the law put their intimidating foot down and terrorizing the scene.

guru should have just stuck to streaming boxing, when you start streaming WWE and UFC than they start coming for you.

Nope, that it's exactly the what Islamaphobes want you to think. That ******s will force you into there religion and use cherry picked historical evidence to make up for their failures in understanding and differentiating between extremists and normal ******s. Speaking with TorrentFreak late last week, the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) clarified the stages behind Operation Creative, an ongoing campaign aimed at disrupting the activities of unauthorized content sites.

they actually have a subdivision solely devoted to this? damn

Do you want boxing scene shut down too? Because the video trading block section does more piracy than a stream. In fact you posting here shows you support piracy.
