I rarely ever used his services aside from occasions where they were domestic fights which I wouldn't be able to see Stateside.

Sucks he's in trouble, but in the world of online streaming it's to be expected. Just as it should be expected that someone else will step up and take his place now that he's been caught.

Also, there are much better free streaming sites for boxing fans out there.

Shame, it was a great website.

They seem to be coming down on these kind of things now. Maybe the days of watching boxing and footy online are on the way out.

Hopefully they don't come down to hard on him.

I understand that people appreciate that he would stream fights not available in some places but he was also showing plenty that people could have supported legally.

I honestly don't feel bad at all, this is what happens when you take part in illegal activities. I like to support the sport I claim to love. Hopefully, they keep cracking down streaming sites with the full weight of the law.

They'll never stop online streaming. They can waste as much of their valuable resources on it as they want, but people will always find a way to attain pay services for free. It doesn't matter if it's downloading music and movies, pirating software, or streaming fights for free.

Anytime they catch a prolific (which guru was in the world of boxing) pirate there's always a dozen other guys ready to step up and take his place.

It's very similar to drug trafficking, in that regard.

we'll eventually reach a stage where all streaming will be totally legal, free but 100% ad-supported of which the revenue will return to the original broadcaster/producer

just a matter of time, so this criminalization of guru will become an embarrassment to the legal system in the future..

Buying PPVs doesn't help the sport. PPVs are a bad thing for boxing and there's really no argument in favour of them. If everyone streamed PPV fights the sport would actually be better off.

"I can't tell you that pay-per-view helps the sport because it doesn't. It hurts the sport because it narrows our audience, but it's a fact of life. Every time we try to make an HBO World Championship Boxing fight, we're up against mythical pay-per-view numbers." - Ross Greenburg, former president of HBO Sports.

why would you hope for this? It literally does nothing for your life, unless you work in the ppv industry. You by far say the dumbest sh-t. One of the worst posters here and using Golovkin's name. Shameful.
