5 months is not long and not the longest of his career.

Major step up for GGG but lets not fool ourselves and say Chavez Jr is a good fighter. Hes got a name and that is all. Without that name he would be garbage

Yea right fool. Chavez is a professional fighter. I'd be willing to bet he'd kick your azz on his worst day. Delusional. The man has a decent resume. Better than GGG's, and I'm a GGG fan. 48 wins and 1 L at 27 is not garbage by any means..

Maravilla! Who shows a lot more ring movement then GGG.. maybe not the pop.. but if GGG stays on the inside.. little chavez has a chance.. as long as his chin holds up..

He's solid. He's gone from being the biggest MW ever to being the biggest SMW today.

Then you have that chin, height, reach. Decent power, body punching.

His skills are limited. He's not the smartest fighter.

But his physical tools make him a tough fight.

Martinez didn't have a single defense of the saw regular belt nor won it in the ring

Last week Danny Garcia rehydrated from 139 to 155.
When Pacquiao fought at 130, he'd consistently come in at 144+
Cotto at 140 would come in at 155+
Mosley at 147 would come in at 160+
Both Canelo and Trout for their 154 bout came in at 170+

But it's only Chavez that gets talked about.
Because people are whiners by nature.....how many times have I read the rumors that Triple "G" KO ¿Covaleb? who is a true light heavy weight, than if GGG truly did that he should have no problems doing the same to Chavez Jr.

Because he's double that? Saluki came in the 40s and Ricardo Alvarez was in the 50s. Sail do a fw, Alvarez a lw
