The questionable commission is the only one with the power to do anything with a failed test. In every other sport it's guys like these that contract out the testing agency. I do see the conflict of interest, but it's nothing compared to the conflict of interest in these private contracts. Who pays good money for something that can only hurt them financially? You think all these bikers and baseball players would be coming up dirty if they or their teams were paying for the testing, with private contracts?

Basically corruption is unpreventable no matter how you slice it. But there's less conflict of interest with NSAC. Also size of an organization plays a role too when it comes to corruption. I'd argue it's easier to corrupt a one-person staffed organization (VADA) versus an organization with more than a dozen full-time staffers (NSAC).

We see eye to eye on this. Commission testing is not ideal, but it's the best possible option lacking a national commission like Germany or Britain. That would be the gamechanger in a lot of ways, including testing
