Martinez is much faster than Cotto. And has much better stamina.

No Cotto WAS a good boxer but his days at elite level are done. Especially at 160

Martinez was really unconftrable , not scare but more like he didn't knee how to handle all the attention and more so that Cotto is the star and he is the B side.

Do u think the speed gap is that big?

It's got to be closer than it was for JR,right? Murray? When was the last time Sergio has had to really prepare for someone with relatively good speed and footspeed?

just wanted some thoughts on it because u mentioned speed and i was thinking about it earlier

Wouldn't be the first time Martinez has experienced this. He was pretty unpopular against Chavez as well. And when he fought Macklin (obviously not on the same scale), it was a pro Irish crowd. So he's used to fighting in hostile territory. And I doubt Martinez truly fears Cotto. He seems very confident.

I seen that, I also seen Martinez try to stair down or shake Cotto and
Cotto wasn't having none of that. Martinez played it safe. I expect a blow
up before both sides head to training camp because this fight is personal
and that's going to be Martinez's biggest mistake because we all seen what
Cotto looks like when its personal.. Cotto vs Margacheato II all over again..

Stop acting like Sergio is Hagler or some shi.t.

He's nothing special by any means.

He also said in an interview that he has been training for several weeks and is getting in much better shape. Plus, he has a history of always being in great shape to go 12 rounds. Cotto, not so much.
