This fight proved right here that Floyd paid canelo to lose. Floyd is ruining the sport and making it like a wrestling event...he did it against Ortiz and now I'm convinced he paid Canelo too. Canelo was a man possesed in the ring last night. Unbelievable performance...he looked nothing like the fighter that fought Floyd.

Canelo's hand speed is so much greater and his punches land with a kind of explosion whereas Angulo's punches are slower. In contrast, Angulo doesn't seem to be punching as hard, but he punched just the same as he always does.
Gtfoh. Your entire post is a joke

Does that count for nothing? I'm sure there's a wide array of reasons why Angulo didn't have his normal pop on his punches, I just don't believe throwing the fight is one of them. After viewing what he did during and after the fight, that's an unfair reason to me. A guy with a plan to lose doesn't out-throw his opponent. As someone above me already stated, Angulo told Hunter that Canelo's punches were hurting him since round one. There was probably something off with him, sure. But did he come to throw the fight? Not in my opinion.

There were several posters not too long ago that labeled him a quitter after the Lara bout even though he had a severe hematoma. Tonight, he takes a beating but never stops throwing, even gets emotional about the stoppage, but the heart and grit is all a ruse because he was gonna throw the fight anyway? I'll never agree with that.
Angulo is no quitter, but he IS shot to hell. That much should be obvious. If he ever was a world class fighter, those days are gone for him.

I've never been a big Angulo fan, but I've watched him fight plenty of times and the Angulo that showed up last night had no intention of really fighting until the end, and that's fact.

Far as the peculiarity comment, you joined in 2013. Have 25 posts. The guy I was talking to been a member for 8 years, only 21 posts, 5 being about the fight last night. Yes that's peculiar.
As peculiar as you think i dont find people being peculiar by holding off a comment and save the energy to do something else. The 'fact' that you bring about is not commonly accepted anyway.some people are disagree with you. It was a judgement , not fact. The fact is canelo punch harder and more accurate than angulo.

There will be no rematch because one thing Floyd has always been good at, is knowing who to fight and when to fight them. He caught the kid at the right time and drained him on top of that. Why he gets credit for that ghost of a fighter he fought that night is beyond me. Anyway, good win for Canelo and if they did ever fight again, he would beat this version of Floyd because he is a better fighter now and fixed his two biggest flaws, which were stamina and punch output. If they fought again, Canelo would impose his size on Floyd like he did the supposed harder punching Angulo tonight. I think he makes Floyd look more his age. Just trust me on that. Wishful thinking though. Lara is getting the beat down next.

What a meritory fight against a slow punching bag that came from a defeat!!!. Canelo has to be proud fighting the lefts over other fights. Everybody knew he will win and that's why he fought Angulo. Now he is going after the grandpa Cotto t show his power, speed, strength jaja. Cotto is done, he is only gaining some bucks just thinking in the retirement. But people, continue believing in this GB fraud. He will be only a great fighter if he fight the best fighter when they are in their prime, like Lara or Kirkland.

So is better Cotto?. This is your good fighters to fight? Cotto has been losing consistently in his last fights and he just won a FNF commentator, come on, nothing impressive. For sure Lara is one of his best opponents at the present, not Cotto or Martinez who is a grandpa with wounds.

Canelo definitely improved in this fight... He now understands that he has stamina issues and you can clearly see the urgency to finish the fight early.
Angulo on the other hand did not show up to fight. I gave the benefit of the doubt early, thinking that he is merely pacing himself until Canelo gases out.
But that obviously didn't happen even though Canelo is starting to slow down, but was still putting on the beat down on angulo.
Fight was stopped prematurely, hunter already threaten angulo with the stoppage, should have let the corner do it. But I'm not losing any sleep over it.

I'm just saying, the list of opponents who matter are short. And there all winnable fights for Canelo. No reason for you to be allad and trying to discredit his skill.
