I bet less than 3/4 of those tickets did golden boy Actuslly receive money for from a purchasing customer.

    Such a crock of ****.
Exactly. It's the brokers and secondary sellers who have to really sell it. This doesn't mean anything. Ppv numbers will tell. The thing is Golden boy never brings out the official ppv numbers. Just their padded version every time lol

This fight will be flop and even Floyd fans will boycott this one...
Smoke and mirrors, at the end of the day Floyd gets paid and showtime loses money again. This is all smoke and mirrors.

This is funny so Casino only buy tickets when Floyd fighting now; put it like this the MGM Grand was packed the last two times I was there and it will be again May 3rd. Floyd tickets are double the price of every other fighter and he still manages to do better numbers.

no where close to the loss hbo took with that joke of a fight pac vs little rios. plus showtime is still counting the money from the richest fight in boxing history, floyd vs canelo. HBO called begging floyd to come back saying they made the biggest mistake in boxing history by letting boxings cash cow gwt away.

Quite a few people didn't buy Rios vs Pacquiao fight by comparison.

Floyd could fight Josie Harris again and the fanboys will still pay 80 bucks to see it

The casino/brokers will probably sell most, if not all of the tickets anyway so the end result is the same:a packed stadium.

It's a pretty intricate system. I'll break down the basics.

The majority of the tickets are either given to secondary brokers or the casino. The secondary brokers sell the tickets at a higher price and haymon and whoever else get a piece.

The casino takes a large amount to give to there favorite clients. The casino doesn't want me and you to have the tickets. They want Pierre the French millionaire who gambles millions and sniffs ******* and screws hookers for a week.

That's why the casino pays for fights, and all the big fights are in Vegas.

Now when the secondary brokers don't sell out, they either will have to cough up some $ for some of the tickets or the casino will agree to take the rest, or magically they'll appear back in the box office.

That's why every Floyd fight is a instant sell out. And why the arena is always empty until the main event. These gamblers don't give a crap about boxing.

And the promoters don't need to worry about ticket sales, everyone wins...

                    But the real fans...
That's not how it really works either. Brokers aren't given tickets, they buy them like everyone else, but they usually buy them at a higher price than everyone else does. Then they pass that rate onto the customer and then some.

I don't think they will hit it.
So when he fought the Ghost the profit threshold was 1 million, why only a year later has it increased by 400K buys?

                      You're completely full of ****.
