    According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, more than 14,700 tickets were sold for the May 3rd, Showtime Pay-Per-View clash, between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana, which takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. More than 16,000 tickets were made available at 10am on Saturday. Schaefer says the gate is already over $12 million dollars.

          Maidana upped his name big time with the way he dismantled Broner. As big a douche as Broner was, you can't deny his ratings on Showtime and HBO. People wanted to watch him.

          Just look on YT. **** has like 1.4m views on the recap of the fight from Showtime.

            I guess this fight is going to be a flop and no one is interested in seeing this fight. I guess Floyd is losing his popularity. The reason why this has sold isn't because of Floyd, oh no, it is because of Maidana.

            Interesting enough the people that said Canelo was more popular than Floyd, why was Canelo's weigh in against Angulo almost empty????

            Too bad no one is interested in seeing this fight... it may crack 300K PPVs
