Here's my problem though, JMM got schooled by Bradley. There was no robbery and IMO there shouldn't even be a rematch. And if so, I'm not with a tune up fight and then get another shot at the title. Ruslan called him out, so he goes and fights the guy that just got pounded out by him???? That's not enough to get the title shot. Beat Provodnikov and then he can get right back in there.

You have a point. That is why I was criticizing this too. If Bradley wins, no reason to rematch but if Manny wins, then there is always the rivalry and the KO win that Marquez has ....

It seems like Marquez is preparing himself for a fifth encounter with Pacquiao. What better way to rebuild confidence after his humiliating loss to Bradley with a victory over the guy who defeated Pacquiao's most recent opponent. Either that or he's using Alvarado as a measuring tool for a future match-up with Provodnikov.
