Comments Thread For: Geale: Golovkin Needs an Opponent Like Me To Be Elite

AUSTRALIA - Last night at the Horden Pavilion, in Moore Park, New South Wales, Austrailia, former two-time middleweight world champion, Daniel "Real Deal" Geale (30-2, 15 KOs) dominated WBA #12 Garth Wood (12-3-2, 8 KOs), stopping his fellow countryman as his corner halted the bout after the sixth round. He is now eyeing a bout with Gennandy "GGG" Golovkin.

No Geale, beating you will shut all the naysayers up who say GGG has not fought a legit threat.

Real fans see the quality in talent in Gennady.

those who hold what seems like a personal vendetta against him, won't. some people seem to just not like the guy. which means that there will always be a new excuse.

It won't be long before people discredit Geale and label him a bum if GGG runs through him.

Geale is a former unified champion and won both titles in Germany by decision. Outside of Martinez, he is the most qualified opponent in the division.

It would be a good fight.

There is no reason why GGG shouldn't take this fight.
