What's this about it would have happened already with a PPV date?
Danny Geale turned down the Apr Golovkin date because it clashed with a pre-booked UFC date on the monopoly Australian sports channel Main Event (which is PPV) - meaning that his Australian fans wouldn't have been able to watch the fight live.
He turned down Monte Carlo because he wanted to fight on HBO.
He turned down his mandatory defense vs GGG in early 2013 cos he (justifiably) preferred a far richer Australian rematch with Mundine.
Nonetheless he does sound genuine about wanting the Golvkin fight now, and it'll be a definite step up for Golovkin - hopefully in summer.
Geale is a step up for GGG,I see a GGG win,but I doubt he drops or stops the tough Aussie.
GGG scored a lot of tko's lately.Geale won't quit for ****,and his workrate is probably better than that of GGG himself.GGG better be prepared for 12 long hard rounds, will it effect him psychologically when he can't hurt Daniel, and realises this guy punches ask just as hard as himself.
geale changed his tune when he unified the titles he ditched the wba regular title to duck GGG who was his mandatory, now he has nothing he is begging for a final shot and payday before he becomes completely irrelevant

... But who's the one not mentioning GGG these days?
... If a fighter doesn't call GGG out it means he's not into the sport...
... "GGG" is a must use syntagm in boxing to date.
