I was at the Martinz-Macklin fight and at no pint did I nor anyone in that arena have the impression that he was ever about to do anything but get KTFO in that fight.

Is Macklin being looked at as a "Great" opponent for GGG? You do know that the fight was in the small building inside MSG.... Macklin is a C-Class fighter at best.

Most boxing fans like knock out artists. It is not difficult to figure out why GGG is already a star and Ward is largely unknown. The hokey-pokey-pitter-patter holder is not worth ten bucks to see regardless of how many "judges" say "he won!"

Although I agree with you, it doesn't matter, It's about money now! GGG will get bigger money fights then Ward because of what the fans like, not because he fought the best. Boring fighters can fight the best and still not be a cash cow.....this is reality, not what the sport was built on and all that historical junk.
