Stop playing dumb. Not every fighter's chin is as fragile as Wlad's.

The same goes for ANY fighter. Any fighter can get knocked out in any fight at anytime. That's the nature of the sport. It just so happens that it's already happened to Wlad.

well im not a klitschko nuthugger and as far as im concerned only one of the three KD's against peter were legit, and going down once against the guy regarded as the heaviest puncher in the division isnt such a bad thing.

i dont think his chin is as bad as some of you guys make it out to be, i really think, like a lot of others, that his problem is mental.

he has never been put down for the count so to say but has been down several times, ans has shown the sbility to fight back from it.

so right off the bat you know that he has the best skills at heavy plus he has proven he can get off the canvas to win.

You're right, he shouldn't be ashamed of anything about the Peter fight. Like I said, he showed a lot of heart, and it was a very courageous performance in a big-time fight. You mentioned that the problem is not his chin, but his mentality, and I think you're partially correct in that statement. He doesn't take a punch well, and goes down often. However, it's his lack of focus following the knockdown that is generally his undoing. He overcame that in the Peter fight, so he may be on his way to stellar career. When I see him taste canvas against a more skilled and intelligent fighter than Peter, and then come out on top, I will not question his chin and mentality as much. He is very skilled, but I just don't see his chin, or mentality for that matter, standing the test of time. I have been wrong before, but I don't think he'll ever achieve all-time great status. He'd better get rollin' on that, because he doesn't have all that much time left.

Vitali is better in the sense that he's one of the only boxers in history, if not the only, that has never been knocked down. So his chin is a lot better than Wlad. But Wlad's offensive skill is better as Vitali's defensive skill is better.

There are a lot of guys that've never been knocked down. There are many current guys like Jose Luis Castillo that've never been down, and throughout history there have been, I'd say,hundreds of guys. So, while that's impressive, it's not unique. Vitaly isn't going down as an all-time great, and he's the better of the two. If anyone claims that Vitaly is an all-time great, they know nothing about the sport.

He gets knocked down, he gets up to win fights. I'ts that easy. He's been shaky and hesitant to let his hands go early on in fights since Sanders. He made a positive adjustment and landed about as many quality shots as you could against Peter, but fact remains.

Peter has an excellent beard. This is known.
