I am thinking the same thing every day. I won't believe the fight is made until Mayweather announces it himself.

Maidana can be outboxed on paper, but Maidana doesn't fight on paper.

No, he can be outboxed in the ring too. He does fight there. That's already happened.

        Not just easily.

But that's besides point. All that matters is Shane Mosley -- a man whose opinion matters more than a run-of-the-mill fan --
said that Marcos Maidana would give Floyd Mayweather problems by punching untraditionally. Something I've been saying for a while now.

Mosley also said that he wouldn't be surprised if Amir Khan couldn't land punches on Mayweather, because Khan punches traditionally and Mayweather is a expert at rolling traditional punches.

        I agree with Sugar Shane.

Mayweather is not an expert at rolling awkward punches. No one is.

I think Maidana hits Floyd Jr. with something ******, and all the naysayers who wrote off the Argentine puncher -- mislabeling him as flat footed, wide, slow -- will say, "Oh ****!" and then, "This wasn't supposed to happened."

        "But, but... Mayweather's boxing skills."

No, it's not beside the point you're trying to make if you truly valued Mosley's opinion. I think it's comical how you completely ignore the most important aspect of what he said because it wasn't what you wanted to hear

I'm talking about the current Maidana. The old Maidana was good enough to become champion. Now that Robert Garcia taught him technical skills he is a monster.

He has clearly learned from Devon. Compare his approach to the clinch in the Devon fight with his approach to the clinch in the Broner fight.

If you are going to be stuck in the past with obsolete observations, I cant have a conversation with you.

          Please watch this

And what exactly are you basing your opinions on? The old Maidana? Those opinions are obsolete. Please update your boxing knowledge to 2014.

Sorry, but I don't buy the "old Maidana" rationalization and excuses. It's a matter of styles and quality of opposition. Those are the bigger factors. If you don't want to have a conversation about it, I'm fine with that.

There's nothing to "buy in" to. The facts are the facts. Maidana is a technically improved fighter since changing trainers.

His recent fights are proof -- knocked down every opponent and won all his fights.

If you want to be ignorant go ahead. Knock yourself out. Keep your head in the sand. I can't help you.

You obviously have a prejudice against strong punchers who brawl technically. You don't have to be Floyd Mayweather to be a good boxer. Maidana is paving his path regardless. People like you can downplay his fighting ability all day long; El Chino is winning. I love it.

You know how it is. Professional licensed fighters don't come close to the wisdom and understanding of the sport NSB posters have.

Floyd wins every round. Maidana can only wins if he lands a good punch.

if maidana keeps the pressure up and really use his left in variation

                      things should get good

still not buying it though, nukka should be fighting pacquiao
