There's no way he'd fight Wlad (or any top 20 HW) like he fought Abell tonight.
Abell ok, Cunningham no...Cunningham is the biggest win on Fury's CV, so we can't know how he will fight with 'top contenders', that's the best guy he has fought, and it was his US debut. Fury doesn't make a secret of the fact he doesn't care about gameplan, as soon as he's in there everything is out of the window and it's time to brawl. Fury isn't smart enough to know how and when is the best method of fighting really. He truly believes he is something great and someone like Wlad or a top contender before that will show Fury his limitations.

I hope he gets to the top of the HW division, just so he can be knocked back down.

Have a look at his fight vs Johnson. Fury boxed well in that fight and kept his concentration.

Also, Cunningham is not the biggest win on Fury's resume.

Aye, but also have a look at Johnson's punch output.

Motivated or not, in shape or not, he has huge holes in his defence.

Who is then? And lol come on man you know Johnson threw sweet F.UCK all in that fight...it was a decent show of boxing ability from Fury with some decent jabs but really he didn't have to do much. Safety Pin actually went for it a bit today which I think contributed to him getting dropped.

I don't disagree. I just laugh at all this "Fury looked crap tonight, ergo this is his limit" posts.

The guy made what should have been an easy night's work an hilariously entertaining shoot out.

Well, it's not. He's fought like that repeatedly throughout his career. This is no one-off.

Also to say that we shouldn't rate the Cunningham fight, either - WTF?

True, nevertheless, Fury still beat him better than Del Boy in my opinion.

I think Chisora is quite clearly the best win on his resume.

Kingpin is always the same. Once someone fights back he just lets the rounds go by. He's annoying to watch, because he's got pretty decent skills. But Fury didn't let him get anything at all.

Exactly. Fury made this card watchable. Stick him on as the headliner next time around! I'll rewatch that fight.
