yes spot on..... i dont know why floyd fans always try defending the catchweight. they should know by now floyd is one of the smartest men in boxing if his opponent is ok with what seems to be an advantage for floyd, of course he will take it. he himself calls it "easy money". blaming the catchweight on canelo is just lame on floyd's part.

Look, its one of the biggest ***** moves Floyd has pulled. Even Canelo said in the fight camp 360 they originally waned it at 147, what a joke. There was no excuse for that fight not to be at 154.
With that said the weight had no effect on the outcome of the fight. Canelo could have come in at 160 at the weigh in and the outcome would have been the same. He just had the wrong gameplan and Floyd was just on another level that night. Props to him.

Would have been pretty funny if the interviewer would have come back with "cmon Floyd that's a load of BS, Canelo said that when he was fighting at 147 himself. He hasn't made that weight in years. the cw was for the same reason every other cw was installed-because the bigger draw can use purse to create an advantage.

Canelo mentioned 150 but that wasn't it. when he said the fight had to be at 154 you knew right then floyd wasn't having that.
