Comments Thread For: Bradley Open To Marquez and Provodnikov Rematches

WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0) recently agreed to face Manny Pacquiao on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. The fight will be a rematch of Bradley's controversial split decision victory over Pacquiao that took place in June, 2012 at the same venue.

The undefeated two-division champion had a stellar 2013 campaign that included wins over hard hitting Ruslan Provodnikov and future Hall of Famer Juan Manuel Marquez. The victory over Provodnikov was so good that it won Fight of the Year honors from most boxing publications.

Real question is whether he's open to fighting them a 3rd time because TR has no one else.

I don't think he's got a choice in the matter.

I can't see anyone else coming up but you never know, fighters come out of no where look at Provodnikov.

      There's always Rios and Alvarado.

WHEN Pacquiao kicks his ass again and snatches that undeserved WBO belt Bradley stole, he will be forced to fight Provo again (which I would love to see). And then hopefully Marquez finds the balls he lost and fights Pacquiao for the title he supposedly is stating un retired for. If he ducks Pac again, Marquez is an official coward clown.

          Bradley doesn't run

Bradley doesn't run and dodge like Mayweather. Bradley is willing to fight anybody. Bradley is becoming more and more appealing to the FANS because of it.

The better question is, does he have a choice?

Its very bizarre to read this. why is Braadley focusing on rematches with guys he beat. why isn't he trying to continue to climb the ladder and/or get in there with fighters who are better than these guys at the moment.

Again, I understand why he took the TR guarantee and why his wife negotiated it the way she did. But to think he would express the desire to fight JMM and Ruslan again rather than Floyd and Danny is mind boggling.

Tim is essentially going to remain in limbo never taking a chance to beat better fighters, grow his fanbase and earn more money.

Rustland destroys him in a rematch. Especially after Pacman softens him up even more.

He has no choice but to focus on those guys unfortunately. Who knows, by this time next year we could see GBP and TR doing business and it will be a non issue. Him signing with TR made sense financially for his family, unfortunately he can't control childish beefs between promoters. Floyd, he will never face and I'm sure he realized that when he signed..

exactly I don't like where tims mind is. I understand boxing is a business but damn if hes going to take the pacquiao/top rank route this year its gonna be a wack year for Bradley. he knows he has no options so hes going to take whats there which is a million rematches smh
