This suprises who? Let Me go find those pictures of him in pink shirts at Coachella. Which is why I called him out on Instagram and him and his weenie fans started attacking Me, so I unfollowed his sorry ass. Go back to Coachella Victor. You dont have what it takes to be Great, you're getting knockedout by journeyman fighters, you just entered the realm of q journeyman fighter (in other words, a bum.)

Last night was like watching a cat and a ball of twine. At first the twine (Ortiz) was holding together from the little whacks, but the cat started finding a rhythm and the ball of twine quickly unraveled.

Maidana ruined him, he was never the same after, yeah he had that great fight vs Bertoe but he wasn't great himself.

I agree with most people here... i called the Collazo win; however, this is pretty much the 'end of the line' with respect to TV time. He may get another tertiary level TV time (i.e., Fox, ESPN, etc.) but this is pretty much the nail in the coffin.

              Big ups to Collazo!

Didn't he have this mentality when Floyd knocked him out too? This 'oh well never mind, it happens...' mentality?

Biggest opportunity of his career and Floyd KO's him, 'oh well it happens'. Now in a fight many saw as a measuring stick for his future, Collazo KO's him, 'no big deal'. Come on?

I mentioned in another thread recently that I don't like to call fighters quitters, but the mentality of Ortiz definitely deserves to be questioned. The rest of his career is now up in the air and he has a "No big deal" mindset once again?

The action culminated with a surprising second round knockout of former WBC Welterweight World Champion "Vicious" Victor Ortiz (29-5-2, 22 KO's) as a result of a right hook thrown by WBA International Welterweight Champion and Brooklyn native Luis Collazo (35-5, 18 KO's).

"When I was in the locker room, the joy, happiness and excitement hit me that I have the opportunity to perform in Brooklyn in front of my fans and the people I grew up with here," he continued.

It's a big deal when you had a once-promising career and you're apparently shot to shît at age 27. It's a big deal that you chose a career in boxing and you're apparently not cut out for it. Time to retire, kid. No big deal.

Ortiz isn't a smart boxer or he wasn't taught defense. This and mental toughness are the source of his problems. We all know boxing will always give you a chance if you have a name. He needs to retool get a real trainer idk who was training him for this fight. He needs to fight some soft opposition where he can really work on improving. He's pretty young he could fight another 6-8 years if he wanted to.
