I also don't hold Floyd to such high standards that he can't fight WW's. Especially WW's that are fighting at WW and actually hold WW title's. Floyd's a WW. He looks and fights his very best there and if that is where he's going to fight at, outside of Top Rank fighters (Bradley and Pac) Maidana is the fight to see!

Anyway both are solid fights and they can have my money if they get made. Especially if they are all in the same event in which I hope is the case come May.

Saying that I hope Lara is on the undercard as well. I hope they try and build him up like they did Alvarez. I'm hoping Floyd moves back up to JMW come September. Lara, even though people will **** all over the mans face when Floyd even mentions him. It's a solid fight at JMW but I know people will just **** all over Lara once Floyd even says his name. Floyd doesn't even have to fight. Just sign a contract to fight him and people will say he's cherry picking this bum etc etc etc..

Who cares though, at JMW Lara is the fight to see. I'm hoping he moves back up in September again. Lara is the standard at that weight.
I agree, just because Floyd is a huge favorite against every WW in the world right now, doesn't mean that those aren't acceptable fights for him. Maidana is a WW champ, coming off a huge win, and has a that X-factor casuals love in his punching power. Mayweather-Maidana is the fight for May 3rd, 2014. I hope GBP and Floyd see that.

On Broner-Khan, I actually would give Khan a good shot. I don't think Broner has that much pop at WW and with his low work rate, Khan could outwork him to a UD. Interesting match-up between two young guys looking to find their way back into the mix for big time fights on the undercard of the P4P #1 guy in the sport.

GBP seems to seriously be giving Lara the shaft with the news of Molina-Charlo on March 8th for the IBF JMW title. Maybe he'll get a good slot on Mayweather's PPV and a good opponent, but I'm not holding out much hope. They seem to be annoyed with Lara that he keeps winning.

I'm hoping Broner Khan is at JWW. Khan's not a WW and Broner like you said doesn't have the power there. However great fight either way.

Yeah GBP's appears to be treating Lara like crap. I really hope they put him on Floyd's card and if its vs someone who will make him look good (vs a bum) be prepared for Mayweather Lara in September. But again, this is when people will start with the Floyd is fighting Lara who's a bum and just beat a bum and isn't good etc. Yet, it still doesn't change the fact that it's a fight that should happen. I just think Lara needs that look good fight with lots of media attention.

        1. Why would Khan fight Broner? As #1, isn't Broner rematching Maidana? and secondly Broner himself said he doesn't want to go to 140 (though it might be better off for his career)

        2. Get real, very slim chance at Lara-Mayweather ever happening and here's why,

        A. Lara doesn't really have a fan friendly style

        B. Lara doesn't have a huge fan base (fair or not one of the big reasons Khan is even under consideration for a fight with Floyd is the U fans)

        C. It's a high risk low reward bout for Floyd .. not his MO. Yes Mayweather did take the Canelo fight, but only at 152 lbs, and because of Canelo's fan base (strong argument could be made that Canelo was too green at the time to fight Mayweather)
