Manny on the other hand has fought much better guys not c level like Ortiz and guerrero, he has also chased Floyd for years while Floyd has ducked him

Floyd wanted to fight Shane back in 1999 or 2000 something like that he didn't get that chance. You can't take away the credit of Floyd beating the same people PAC beat just cause it was later cause he don't get credit when he's beats someone before manny.

Your beef is more with the politics of boxing more then the fighter itself.

I agree he brings the best to the table to be able to beat him then anyone and this is what makes the fight a must see no matter how late it is. But It's hard to see manny winning but I do know if manny catch him with a shot like Shane hit him with then he is going down for sure but the question is can he catch him and that's what I don't see happening I mean he's gonna hit him but not super clean and now with his dad back on his corner helping him with his defensive it will be harder to catch him. I say Floyd wins in a non impressive way. But I don't count manny out at all I say it's a 60/40 in Floyd favor in winning in my eyes. And thanks for replying to my post

I agree that Floyd probably wins by decision. I love watching both guys do their thing. Manny may be the only guy who can actually win rounds against Floyd by volume of punches thrown and landed. Floyd would really have to dig deep in this fight and maybe stand there and trade to win. If it ever happens I think we'll see the best of both guys for all 12 rounds and who knows what happens..I'll take Floyd 115-113 with maybe him going down cleanly in the early to middle rounds on a straight left...

Floyd is a great fighter and was one before he even became a PPV star. Belts don'tmatter wwhen you're beating guys like Guerrero and Ortiz.. those guys only beat Berto at WW and we know he turned out to be a steroid abuser and a hugely overrated guy.

Guerrero had two fights at WW and the Ortiz win over Berto was a good one. Look, everyone has their opinions on how they see things but to me. Floyd accomplishments are more impressive. Manny has looked for every advantage in the book to get some good wins and some have back fired. I'll give you a prime example why I don't consider Manny greater. How do you got life and death with a fighter for over a span of 12 years? Here it is in a nut shell.... Manny said he underestimated Marquez because he fought and beat bigger guys and he considered Marquez to be smaller and easier to beat at WW? Come on man! How do you underestimate a guy who has given you your toughest fights to date? What's great about that?

Really? Like Margarito when it was originally talked about? ("where not crazy"), Mosley in 09 (you"re too good) & Cotto at 154?(no thanks, only at catchweights).You have some weak facts there.

He beat the **** out of Cotto even before he gave Floyd a tough fight. Cotto at 154 is a joke. He beat Foreman for a easy title then lost to Trout who really never beat a top 154 fighter. Cotto was best at 147...

Mosley, Hatton, Cotto and others did not want to fight Floyd when he was coming up. Fight was too risky. Shane had a tooth ache, Hatton said he needed more time at 140 and Bob Arum shielded Miguel Cotto. These are all documented facts.
