That's not Floyd biggest win, he was at a 400 pounds disadvantage when he beat BigShow.

      1. (#1 Floyd PPV) Oscar Floyd 2.5 million PPV buys

      2. (#1 Pacquiao PPV) Pacquiao Marquez III 1.45 million PPV buys

      3. (#2 Floyd PPV, although #1 in PPV revenue) Floyd Canelo 2.2 million PPV buys

      4. (#2 Pacquiao PPV) Pacquiao Mosley 1.3 million PPV buys

      5. 148 lbs Pacquiao beat 147 lbs Oscar in the ring.

      6. 151 lbs Floyd beat 170 lbs Oscar in the ring.

      7. Floyd agreed to 50:50 and $10M/lb penalty.

      8. Pacquiao refused random PED testing with no cutoff date.

True. They'd be talking about how his resume is trash and how Manny is the real face of HBO. Instead of cosigning a floyd fight they'd be asking for the Ward fight.

          Whatever.

The point remains, the little dude has a legacy that Andre Ward can only dream about at this point.

            9. When Floyd tried to make the fight happen, Arum said no, they HAVE to build an outdoor stadium first.

            10. If Floyd copromotes with Top Rank, he will have to share the profits with Bob Arum and HBO, his direct, hostile competitors. Apparently, Pacquiao supporters can't understand why it's a bad business move to share a huge profit with direct, hostile competitors, when you could just wait them out instead.

I think at the time they believed 147 was a risk for Pacquiao, a risk (according to the old quotes) they were only prepared to take for financially lucrative fights like Oscar and Floyd. Roach kept repeating Cottos size advantage in the build-up, they were worried about it.

As it turns out imo they need not have worried about it, Pac handled the move up with ease and went on to beat more opponents at 147 and 150.

Nor do I. I don't think it made much difference either, I think Ward would still have dominated him at 170-172lbs. He's just better than Dawson.

Dawson called out Ward at 168 lol

Ward still fought a drained Chad took advantage of that, so why clown on Pacman when u have done the same????

Remember thats what happened to Sergio Martinez..
Martinez was the big scary man that Mayweather was ducking....
And then...Martinez calls out Pacquiao at a CW of 151-153...And Pac fans tottaly flipped, Martinez has been labeled a old man cherry picker every since.

Since when did this become about Floyd and Arum.
Meanwhile, Andre Ward is fighting to a capacity crowd of 7
