Damn, surprising to see so little love for GGG, but Wilder and Canelo way ahead in front...

Those wins aren't meaningful, they aren't even top wins in one of the wot divisions, Canelo has a much better resume than Fury and is a much better fighter.



They aren't solid wins, I wouldn't describe any of those fighters as anyhting more than average, Canelos win over Trout *****s an of them easily.



People are claiming GGG is a future ATG with Ward saying hes like Chavez with defence Canelo is a much bigger star than both, I don't think many people are making him out to be a future ATG after his performance against Floyd though.



Fury looked absolutely awful and got dropped hard against the old non-puncher Cunningham, I don't know how you can give him a performance edge over Canelo, that's insane. As for GGG he looked awful against the smaller shot Ouma and didn't look very good against Rosado and Stevens. Other than some suspect conditioning, he looked good against Trout, I don't recall him looking any less than fine against Rhodes and Hatton, he didn't look good against Mosley and Gomez though, that I agree with.



I don't need to, I saw GGG against washed up Ouma and Fury against washed up Cunningham and both looked awful.



I don't think Canelo is anything special either but he's more proven than GGG which is especially embarrassing considering their ages.

You make valid points but I just feel fury and ggg don't have the huge hype Canelo has. Plus I feel they performed better vs similar competition.. There is still a lot of doubt about all 3 but if I had to choose one I gotta go with canelo because of the huge push to make him an oscar type ppv attraction

I don't know man, the hype hasn't been anywhere near it was prior to losing against Floyd.

Very true but even with the Floyd undressing, they are still trying to land him on PPP but haven't been able to land a ppv opponent i.e. Cotto... No one is trying that with ggg n fury especially if they had just gotten undress

Canelo doesn't have the hype he did but he still has the most in the game imo

The Canelo hype will continue while he is Golden Boy's Golden Child - you remember the **** Schaefer was saying before the Floyd fight? Some interviews were just making out Canelo to be this Jesus Christ new-king-of-Mexico figure... "oh Canelo you know he has it all, 'extremely good-looking', a hero to millions in Mexico, youth, skills' etc etc etc, when you compare someone like Wilder where if his streak ends he will be forgotten about probably as quickly as he was mentioned as the next big thing amongst heavyweights...it's all relative...

As I say man, these aren't my picks, these are just names that I see and hear around these forums as still hype jobs, or guys that still havn't proven themselves/still are seen as future stars etc. Some on here are still not sold on Rigo - you must have seen it? And Canelo - exactly, he was a hype job before and got exposed as more of a prospect, yet he it still seen by some as a future P4P top star as he's young and been tipped for the top by Floyd.

But again, I repeat, I personally only think a few of this list are true hype jobs, i.e Fury, Wilder

I actually think Fury will do ok in the division, maybe get his hands on the WBC belt.

Wilder though will be in for a shock when he steps up. Having said that, his immense power does level the playing field.

Sometimes people just can't accept the greatness/accomplishments or true talent of some boxers when it begins till it get's to a point where you simply can't fault or detract their accomplishments...it's always easy to be a hater, especially for upcoming boxers - you do something impressive or are progressing quickly in your career and this is recognised? = hype job...dumb logic sometimes.

Fury? Dunno about what he can do, there are question marks over him and he's had a long layoff, and occasionally he seems a bit disillusioned (technically he's still retired!?) while in every interview he claims he's the best there ever was...really it would be good if some of these 'hype jobs' fought each other, i.e. Wilder and Fury, to quickly find out who is legit and who isnt...there's question marks over them both so it would be entertaining to see!

I'm surprised Kovalev is the lowest voted for guy on this poll, definitely some are being harsh on a few guys on the list...considering Kovalev isn't particularly high p4p and doesn't have any real signature wins as of yet...
