“Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao’s opponent for his planned April 12 fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will be decided over the weekend with the choice narrowed down to former sparring partner and WBO light welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov and undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told krikya360.com/Manila Standard that he would meet with Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz at his (Arum’s) home in Los Angeles on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) to finalize details of Pacquiao’s planned fight and that “hopefully we’ll put it to bed.”

Unlike Floyd pac going for some tough compition ! Nothing against maidana but I highly doubt Floyd will take that fight . I have a feeling arum pulled manny aside and said Top Rank is going to sh** ,I need your help pac by fighting someone that people are wanting to see.

Out the two...I guess id rather see Bradley fight. Prov would take a beating. And i like Ruslan a lot. Id like to see him fight on and defend his title against other good fighters. Feeding his to Manny is a sacrificial lamb if ive ever seen one!
In no way am i saying Ruslan isnt any good...Hes a beast. Mannys speed and angles would tear him apart.

I'd strongly prefer Bradley to Provodnikov, but if Pacquiao ends up facing Provodnikov and then Bradley this year, that's fine. If Pacquiao fights Provodnikov, it will probably be a cuts stoppage. Bradley was able to bust up his face and Pacquiao was able to bust up the face of Rios of all people, something Alvarado could not do. This fight gets made, Provodnikov's face becomes a bloody mess.
