Depends on how serious the hip injury really was. I'm not sure it was as bad as they were making out and a Sturm rematch is a big money rematch.

Hearn: “Barker will definitely want to fight Felix and he’ll want a rematch with him, it’s just whether his body allows it.

“If he goes to the specialist and it’s something that heals in six weeks, then he may go again, but if it’s really bad and he couldn’t fight in the next six or seven months I’m pretty sure that he’ll never fight again.

GGG for the sake of his career should try to win on points against Adama.

What a joke. And you wonder why you have clowns say "Golovkin needs to step up and fight a top 5 fighter".

Even better, lose the first 8 rounds and come back for the 12th round controversial KO. Look as vulnerable as possible.

I don't think so. He has to keep his KO% up, it's what's setting him apart and capturing the attention of the fans.

While, I admit it's not looking good for Murray, the "not golovkin" part is pure editorializing by boxingscene. Sturm mentioned Murray's name and he responded back. It's not as if this some crazy new thing Murray has been wanting. He's been consistently saying the same thing since the draw.

It's also driving "top fighters" like Murray away into their little shit comas

He then becomes a personified bum, lucky because of his power. He has no real skill, waste of a time to fight. There are more worthy than GGG.

Then he can have the rematch later this year. Heal in the first half and train up for a rematch in December or something... sometime in the winter.
So that's one fight in 2014 already marked up

                      Very surprising

Murray like everyone else at MW will continue to avoid golovkin, fighting nobodies until an easier champ opportunity opens up. When there's no options left, after he has been beaten, he will beg for a golovkin fight and payday, just like geale
