Speaking of making stuff up. My last sentence has nothing to do with who I think will ultimately win.

Manny couldn't adjust then. Can't adjust now.

Manny wasn't as good defensively then, he isn't as good defensively now.

The advantages that Manny had then, he still has now (and vice versa). I believe that the difference now, is that he has a better chance at stopping Floyd, due to how much Floyd has slowed down.

I still think his chances are slim, but I believe they were closer to "none" before Floyd started to slow.

let me put this in simpler terms, who benefits more from a "boxer" pacquiao?

and lol@ your opinion on pacquiao going from standing virtually "no chance" to being able to ko floyd now despite him punching about as hard as floyd now(due to his commitment to his punches) and being unable to stop rios or algieri

do you think 5 years ago pacquiao couldn't have stopped rios and algieri? i think the odds either one makes the distance with that pacquiao are next to "none", but here pacquiao tried his darnest vs algieri and could barely even hurt the guy except for in the 9th

that marquez ko has aged pacquiao dramatically, we dont even now how he'll react when he walks into some counters, he'll probabley freeze as many ko victims do

the adjustment thing is relative also, more defensive, runner, clincher floyd will do better vs one-handed pacquiao compared to a younger ballsier mayweather vs a powerful two-handed pacquiao which would probabley get floyd nothing less than a right hook and stopped

I thought he was more intelligent and cautious fighter now after Marquez? All of a sudden, the fight is imminent and he looks washed up, with no head movement? I will tell you what, most of you people of no shame, or just don't know what you're talking about, so you guys end up talking in circles.

yes, he is more cautious, fights more careful i.e a more thought out approach, more careful approach, thus a more "boxer" style

his headmovement has dropped alot, he now fights almost looking like khan at moments, his defense is purely his legs alot of the time, he attacks standing completely upright with his arm punching, he had many more fients also

but it's not to say floyd hasn't slowed down alot neither, both guys are well passed prime, physically probabley slghtly more so for floyd, but mentally pacquiao is damaged, most of his style alterations are from the mental damage the marquez ko inflicted

Should this fight happen, I favor Pacman. We will see why Floyd did not want this fight.

I would change my vote from PAC by stoppage to PAC by decision.

1) Since Pacquaio has been fighting more cautiously since the JMM ko, I think he takes away from his chances of winning.

2)The only fighters that have success against a defensively sound fighter like Floyd is a fighter that takes chances and punches with him. You beat speed and elusiveness with timing, and combinations. i.e. Tarver kayoed Jones because he punched with him. Toney kayoed Nunn by taking chances and punching with him.

3) Pacquaio wont outbox Mayweather who is 2 inches taller and has a 4-5 inch reach advantage. His only shot at beat Mayweather is by kayo or scoring some knockdowns. The longer the fight goes, the worse it will be for Manny, because Mayweather comes on stronger each fight after he's got you figured out. If he fights Mayweather the way he did Algieri, he will definitely get caught coming in. Manny does things that look aesthetically pleasing but he wastes a lot of movement, Mayweather makes purposeful moves

Floyd isn't losing a decision at the MGM Grand guys. Come on. I wouldn't even be shocked if Arum has some crooked **** going on like in the bradley fight.

Pacquiao has slowed down noticeably, and Floyd loooked terrible against Maidana. Clearly not at their peak but at this point it's still a 50-50 fight, so their should be no excuses from either side.

ESPN is reporting that paceman has agreed to the terms and signed for the fight its on Floyd now.
