Pacquiao should come in lighter like he did vs Algieri, Cotto and ODLH, he performs best when his fight night weight is 147-148, those 2 pounds extra make him look soft and slower.

pacquiao has lost more advantages than floyd, floyd actually stands a better chance now because of not only what i said, but because he's now more defensive, as seen vs maidana he'll resort to not even punches, just arm flailing as scoring blows

You guys realize a man who lifts weights can COMPLETELY change his physique in 6 months if he seriously trains... I mean, he can go from nothing to having a solid bodybuilder physique... So you think an ELITE athlete can't pack on muscle gradually and move up in weight? C'mon guys

If you think you can go from "nothing" to a "solid bodybuilder physique" in 6 months, you have no idea what you're talking about my friend. Those physiques takes years of muscle maturity and is definitely not something achieved in 6 months.
Cutting or losing weight is different. If you're already fat, you can transform your physique in 6 months by losing a lot of weight coupled with some nice newbie gains. However that shouldn't be conflated with muscle building in that same time frame.Last edited by deliveryman; 01-13-2015, 12:50 PM.

Cutting or losing weight is a different story, but it's not even comparable to building lean muscle mass in the same time frame.
So what is your stand about Pacquiao jumping weigths?

Pacquiao is still beating up everyone that he fights. He was on his way to stopping Marquez until he got caught. He beat up Bradley (again).
I'm still as interested in this fight as ever. Maybe more, because what I felt like wasn't a realistic shot a few years ago, I think may be possible now.
The thing that hasn't changed, is that Floyd is smarter than Manny in the ring. He can make the adjustments that Manny can't. I think that's what really sets him apart.Last edited by johnm is...; 01-13-2015, 12:31 PM.
