Stop making excuses. Gloves don't determine who wins a fight.

Yet Floyd didn't allow the promoted KO artist Maidana to fight with his preferred approved punchers gloves. If it didn't make a difference, your hero wouldn't be crying about it 24 hours before a fight. Floyd was ready to call off the fight over (approved) gloves which you say don't determine who wins a fight.
