When has Manny ever been really scrutinized in the mainstream media? He is universally loved.

um im talking about the mayweathers accusing pac. and the media putting pac in the same level as floyd how is that disrespecting again??

son i was watching manny alot longer than most on NSB. Way back when he was promoted by Murad Muhammad.

No, I didn't say it was a better fight. I said its fresh and new. we saw manny/tim already Manny won clearly, he just got robbed.

Floyd and Pac are stronger willed men that I am, because there is no way that I could live thinking that I am the best fighter in the world, and there is a guy in my weight class that the about half of the world thinks would beat my ass (from either fighter's perspective). I would have to silence all the haters. You know these guys get the same questions on a weekly if not daily basis. It would drive me ****ing crazy. I'd HAVE to beat that guy.

I usually balance my time reading boxing forums with reading technical forums, or else I'll go cuckoo as well...

Floyd feels disrespected. With everything he's accomplished in the sport, he never agreed with Pacquiao even being in the same conversation as him. I think he does these verbal attacks on Pacquiao because of what the media makes him out to be. Ego can be the ruler of men. Floyd feels disrespected and won't forgive the fans and media by fighting Manny.

In boxing if you feel disrespected you take it out in the ring.

I do feel more men are too soft these days. They like to go to the gym and get big to show they're the man but they forget that their balls make them a man.

Floyd is soft. He has the skills and abilities but he's soft. You don't fight Amir Khan when you are considered an all time great. You move up in weight and challenges guys like Andrea Ward. Heck fighting a small guy in Manny Pacquiao is good enough but Floyd is soft.

People are right he's insecure so he has to keep his 0.

dunn, stop it. stop trying to act like u want to see ruslan and pac just because its something new, even though manny will not benefit anything from it. and ur the only one favoring a pac/ruslan fight lol. the pac/bradley fight wasnt exicting becuase bradley is a slick boxer, now u care about excitement? u're one of the posters here who criticized fighters for picking oppoents that will not do anything for him so take all ur shiiet and shove it back up where it came from. u have a good day now.

If PAC fights Ruslan, here are the criticisms...

1. PPV sparring session
2. No real trainer (see Cotto)
3. Bringing up yet another JWW
4. Tailor-made opponent (come forward style)
5. Picking yet another loser of the two (Bradley vs Provo)

Floyds problem is insecurity. I understood his frustration during 07 - 10 when pacquiao mania was at its peak. Because people have short memories and weren't giving floyd the respect he deserved. But now the momentum is back with him and every moron is patting him on the back and it's STILL not good enough. He's so defensive and threatened by pacquiao (popularity wise) it's pathetic. When asked about him in an interview not long ago floyd replied " manny who?" "manny who?" C'mon floyd remember the guy you were in the front row cheering for like a ***** ass fan boy when he was fighting morales 6 or 7 ago?
