im all for free but im not sure if i wanna deal with commercials for a super fight

When I watch Leonard-Benitez or some of Hagler's or Duran's fights on youtube, it's surreal to see actual TV commercials .

yea...mega fights with commercials..it was crazy back then...i remember as a kid watching Nelson-Fenech on channel 7 and getting mad at the end of rounds because of commercials



my fear about the whole thing is what if they try to milk it? instead of the usual 1min break where we see slow mos and highlights, they try to squeeze extra advertisers and it becomes a 2min break? now what?


what would normally be a 48min event becomes 2hrs and delayed?

Showtime probably lost money again and will pressure mayweather into fighting pacquaio

Likely why HBO contributed to Manny's sighing bonus when he resigned to TR-to ensure he doesn't refuse fight again since they can't even do a cotto fight in December because their budget is used up. When all of the ppv's you did this year failed to meet expectations, you need to get sales up. Floyd is still the top seller, even in a down year.

My guess-because the PPV sales are down since they expanded the movie theatre option-which is much cheaper and caters more toward Floyd's core fanbase.

You can still be the top seller even if your overall numbers are down. Last year-3 mil +ppvs sold. This year-I'd be surprised if he broke 1.8 mil total.

I think Espinoza and Arum should release the ppv#'s. It can't be that hard to calculate, especially in this day and age.
