Um, they're not going to sit around and wait for Floyd. The date is set to ensure they do have a date, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't cancel that one out if they got a Floyd fight.

Remember, your excuse is different than the one Floyd actually used: "Manny who"?

Because Khan didn't turn down the fight on 2 occassions like manny did.

Who else is left for Floyd that will make him do at least 1.2 million buys?

Khan? doubt it, when Floyd and pac both fought Hatton he brought over lots of british fans to the arena but the us buy were under 1 million.

Only other options are to move up to fight GGG or Sergio Martinez which is crazy I think Floyd should just fight at a 147 or 154.

The best and easiest option is Pacquiao, Floyd can beat him so easy right now and people are still willing to pay for the fight. Floyd should jump on it and have 3 fights with pac to end his contract and call it a day, he can retire beating a washed up pacman and claim he gave pac 3 chances to beat him and just to show the people to really show them that he was better than pac he whooped him 3 times. to leave no question who is the best.

They announced the date the day after the fight after claiming all week the goal was to try and get a floyd fight. WHile your post makes sense, its hard not to question when manny/bob's actions contradict the things they and roach were saying durng the lead up to the rios fight.

Like I posted-rational human beings know interpreted that as them not wanting to fight. fringe manny fans see it differently.

I'm on board with Mayweather-Pacquiao, but you think they'd ever fight three times? Hell no.

there is no question on who is better, except in the minds of manny fans such as yourself.

As for who he can do 1.2 mil against-its hard to say GGG becuase he's never been on PPV and isn't well known.

Sergio would be good since he did 500k with Chavez Jr.

Manny and his team will be back APril 12th against bradley/jmm/provod according to Bob so they obviously don't want to fight floyd.

no opponent for may 5th?? u and i know damm well theres someone in the talks already way before floyd announce he's coming back on may 5th. just like u said in the other thread last week, fights gets planned, months, years before it actually gets announced. the whole floyd announce may 5th so how come team pac didnt talk to him is just a smoke screen.

Maybe not 3 but he would give pac a rematch If Floyd beats Pacman easy the first time he will give Pac a rematch.

fair point. they could've had and likely had khan and some other name already in the mix.

that would still mean team manny's bluster during the lead up to the fight was nothing more than BS, which everybody accepts as true except fringe manny fans like yourself and Ronnie N.

Bob the announcing manny would fight tim/jmm/provod shows the talk was BS.

Anyway you cut it Team Manny had no intention of fighting floyd as they said in the lead up to the rios fight.
