Its not something to accept or not accept. Its the simple truth. That fight doesn't make money therefore it won't be considered. Floyd fights at 154 for mega fights. He's not gonna waste a payday. It just won't happen. BTW I don't think Lara has a chance in hell against Floyd personally. He's much too slick for his own good and yet not fast either. Its a fight where the sharper puncher/technician will win and that will be Floyd.

Floyd will not jeopardize his 0; if he fights Lara, it would be a shock to everyone.

Floyds not fighting above his weight class unless it's big money which Lara simply isn't.

So you don't think there's double standard? When TR does it, it's evil. When GBP and Floyd does it, it's business.

Lara has better chances than either Khan or Garcia. So you're wrong. BTW, are you saying you prefer Khan or Garcia over Lara?

Only for people who aren't consistent on the issue. A lot of people said it was business on the HBO/Arum/Rigo situation too, they were right, as unjust as it might seem.

to those of you saying the Lara fight wouldn't bring any money and is a hard fight to sell, I think you're missing THE ANGLE... It's Floyd's chance to avenge his only loss, which was when he lost the gold medal in the Atlanta Olympics against a CUBAN. This will finally be his chance to settle that he's better than the cuban fighters and it could be sold as USA vs CUBA, which school of boxing is more skilled?

And if Floyd is a prideful fighter he would want to prove that he's the better boxer. I know that loss in the Olympics hurt his pride and motivated him as a man on a mission when he went in as a pro to demonstrate he was the best (I've heard him say that). This finally is his chance to settle that he is the superior boxer.

              Peace.

I don't get any double standard. Floyd is a ww that fights att jmw sometimes for big fights. He's not a jmw and he's never really campaigned in the division. What that has to do with top rank is beyond me. The point is Floyd isn't gonna fight Lara. Has nothing to do with how good lara is imo. Its about what he brings to the tablle. As far as if its a better fight than those two? Sure Lara is better than khan definitely. Is he better than Garcia? I don't think so personally. He has a style that would make it a closer fight maybe. But he would ultimately lose. He's just not that good. Doesn't throw enough, isn't fast enough, isn't a better technician. Floyd would have to get really old in there to lose to him. This kinda thing happens every time a fight has an impressive outing. Not saying it isn't a good fight but ppl yapping about it being 50/50? Please.

Lara is like Canelo in many respects except sharper but he throws less punches! and he doesn't go for the kill. Mayweather by a loud wide boring one-sided UD.

It sucks that Lara isn't mexican or doesn't have a large fanbase.
