The fight that everyone wants over any other fighter is Manny Pacquaio. Not Lara.

It's a risky competitive fight, but i don't see why he should fight Lara when he has nothing to gain from it. The only fight worth moving up for would be Sergio Martinez at 160lbs. He has a lot to gain from that fight from a legacy standpoint, he'd get the chance to win a title in six weight division and would cement his legacy if he were to win.
Lara is not worth for the risk even though i think Floyd would find a way to exploit his weak inside game, but as i said, Floyd has nothing to gain by beating him, and stylistically, they'd stink up the joint.

This 'Floyd only fights at 154 for big money' excuse is nothing short of a joke. So he's a paper champ at 154, then?
If he doesn't want to fight the best at 154, he should stick to 147.
Lara would've probably done roughly the same numbers as Maidana with some good promotion + a solid undercard and it would have been a credible fight in everyone's eyes, against a style Floyd hasn't faced in a long time.
