Maidana will make Broner wish he was lower weight class

Broner needs a reality check, which Maidana will administer with his relentless pressure. Broner will be competitive, but We may see him fade towards the later rounds. He hasn't faced anyone of Maidana's caliber, and we could see him go down for the first time. His lack of discipline and respect for the sport of boxing will lead to his demise. No hating here. Just stating a fact.

I don't like him nor rate him, myself.
Not a fan. Unbearable personality. Not convinced about him boxing-wise either. I think this fight is designed to make him look good but I admit I'm intrigued. It'll be interesting to see what they have planned for him if he wins.

              Trying way too hard.

The whole copying Floyd in every way is ridiculous. Goes as far to sit on the stool the same way between rounds.

I think he's talented he has speed, abit of power (Definitely overrated) decent in quite a few areas but he just doesn't impress me.

His Ring IQ seems so low to me. It's the main reason he struggled with Pauli, he just froze a lot of the time and couldn't get himself or the fight under control.

His defense isn't good IMO, get's hit way too much and seems to have in his mind that he doesn't get hit when he does.

Not seen any sides of his game like tieing his opponent up, setting traps, defense positioning and things of that nature.

A lot to be desired from what I've seen thus far and let's face it, his calibur of opposition has been pretty plain average thus far. Probably, no, definitely the worst resume ever for a 3 weight world champion.

I expect him to beat Maidana but I also don't expect him to have an easy time. Broner's shown me that Maidana's going to make his way inside and when he does Broner's not shown me that he'll tie him up and just don't see how he'll find a way of avoiding getting touched.

@ the bolded. Come to think of it, he does sit like Floyd on the stool. SMH. Scary. And his defense isn't all that. Not to mention he's already eaten himself out of weight divisions. Terrible. I see some talent as well but I also see a lot of work that needs to be done and I'm not sure if he truly has that desire.

The man is entitled to an opinion but he doesn't have a portfolio that justifies his claim.

There are several WWs aside from Maidana that he will need to beat in order to earn that #3 spot.

When I saw Floyd in his 20s I had a strong sense that this guy was special. I don't get the same feeling with Broner. He's going to get sparked, maybe not by Maidana, but it's on the drawing board most def.
