Vanes has fought the better competition & I have more of a gauge on how he'd match up with this tall, southpaw jabber.
I don't think Andrade is what he is cracked up to be.
His footwork at times is extremely bad, he gives away his height & reach advantages constantly, he squares up, lunges, always overextending & falling in & IMO he is predictable.
I watched a few of his fights last night & it was the same thing over & over again. Feint with the shoulder, jab, reset with a lot of amateurish unnecessary bouncing.
I'm not impressed & feel Vanes will find a home for that right hand all night.
I think Vanes is the more technically sound fighter here, he is suited to the pros against a guy who bares a 'flashy' amateur style with a lot of bad amateur flaws.
Andrade can win the fight but I give the edge to Vanes and the further it goes, the more I fancy Vanes to pull away.
hmmm, interesting. it's a hard one to pick, altho i already picked andrade, I could see vanes winning this. it's a really good fight.
I think Vanes beats him. The Garcia-Martinez fight will be the most lopsided. Garcia is favored heavily, I guess this shows how much of a bum Martinez is.
