The thing is, anyone can come in and say "Garcia wins, Donaire wins" and leave it at that.

Both are better than 1/10 favorites, so it's not like you're stepping out on a limb making a bold prediction.

Betting against 10 to 1 (or more) favorites will likely make anyone look foolish. But it also doesn't make anyone look good for betting ON them.
