Mayweather and his apologists usually justify him not fighting certain opposition on the basis that "he would win easily." I can understand why the whole concept of getting in the ring and actually proving it is a bit alien to you.

You post like a teenager so i guess you have no real clue about how good Leonard was, but i can promise you he would never get beat up by someone like Castillo. Floyd is great but he has done it in a far weaker era and by avoiding some tough challengers until they are shot. Here's the problem with your opinion: it's ****** and wrong.

Footwork, speed, range, and power. You cant sum Floyd up with just a few attributes. Dude is a master-artist.

And yes Ghost, Canelo, and Ortiz are all great fighters that people would call Floyd a DUCKER had he not faced them. I SURELY would have, and give him props for taking the challenge. He had to compromise his style in order to DOMIATE EACH without getting GRAZED.

If SRL had fought them he may have stopped them but had all out brawls, wars, etc with. SRL doesnt have the skills to fight them without a hint of problems.

If you feel that I post like a teenager thats YOUR opinion. Your entitled to feel however you want. And when Floyd fougt Castillio he complained about a bum shoulder from the SECOND round before he knew he would lose. NOT after the fight as an excuse. He rematched and DOMINATED. But SRL had a close fight with Hagler and NEVER rematched him.

Agreed. Sometimes the fighter themselves are not the best judge of their own abilities when comparing simulations to another, but rather someone close to them who understands the mechanics that make that person work. I think his own brother picking Floyd over him, while not the end all be all variable, is one that is very profound.

People love to turn past ATGs into some sort of invincible mythological demi-god.

Objectivity seems to be more lacking among boxing fans than any other sport.

I also agree with some points another made on here about SRL having more room for mistakes and Floyd having less room though. I give the edge to Floyd and my money would be confidently on him if this ever took place in some pocket pseudo-parallel universe where both were prime and same size.
