Manny prolly look at it like a blessing to be where he's at because without bob he prolly wouldn't be where he's at today. Old school traditional Asians are respectful, kinda like the old saying don't bite the hand that feeds u.
Of course it's a blessing for Manny. He's an icon, but at this point I don't think he should have names brought to him anymore. I think his word carries more weight than he probably believes it does. In other sports athletes fire their agents if they feel they aren't getting what they deserve... Now in no way am i saying Manny should fire them(if given that power) but I think he could speak out a little more than he does

    Cotto rematch?
    Martinez at a cw?

There's seems to be nobody else unless he demands a gbp fighter.
Both are possible. I just think with him opening up a bit he can demand something other than those names.. and by the way, I'd buy a rematch with Bradley. For once I'd like to read an article staying Manny lists three names or so for 2014-2015. Canelo can do it so I'm sure his say would be a little stronger.

At this point, Arum has plenty of money. I'd for one would like to see him give up a little to give a very deserving guy like Manny that huge payday. Win, lose or draw Manny needs it. Fans are still hungry for the fight and even if it ain't Floyd I'd want to see Manny put himself first instead of holding back with who he could fight next

      I want to see a Pacquiao-Canelo fight.

I just can't figure why Manny still can't stand up to Top Rank and demand who he really wants
That is what he should have done a long time ago when he was at the peak of his power, because Arum needed him so if Manny really put his foot down Arum would have needed to yield.

Now Arum still kinds of needs Manny as he is still Arum's best cash producer/door opener but Manny has fallen off a bit and is much closer to the end of the road so Arum would likely be much less accommodating.

Bradley rematch going to be harder to make. Should have just made it instead of straight to Marquez
I don't understand why so many are ripping Bob Arum for these names, Bradley is the second best welterweight on the planet and a man who has already beaten (controversially) Pacquiao.

Provodnikov is a man who would have won a title at welterweight and has only just beaten the 3rd best light-welterweight on the planet..by stoppage no less. If this fight gets made, it's an all action scrap where both men will trade some of the hardest blows this side of WW2.

And Marquez, Pacquiao's Frazier/LaMotta/Norton/Hearns and all those other cliches. Why would anyone not want to see a 5th fight considering the excitement of the last one, probably the best in the series.

I can't pick holes in any of those bouts and barring any miracles and the making of a fight with Mayweather, who else would you like to see Pacquiao fight? Khan would be a lopsided, brutal shalacking, Guerrero/Berto/Thurman are not in the same league. Alexander and Brook have unfinished business and a Broner fight would be ridiculous in and out of the ring.

Arum is listing the best opponents possible.

Wow 2 times and hes ready for Pac and PPV! My mistake then.

Thats why i call him "flavor of the month" cause thats all he is.

Trout and Prog were here too and just like Provo when they were the flavor they can beat anybody including legends

so what were guerrero and Ortiz?

Ruslan isn't ready for a PPV but Guerrero and Ortiz were lol. I'm pretty sure Ruslan has accomplished more than those two before they got the Mayweather fight.

This dude Fetta is lame as ****.

Ruslan accomplished more than those two is just laughable. Even more laughable if you really think thats true.

I can list why its laughable but dont want to get into a floyd v pac thing

Remember, Guerrero was basically undefeated when he fights with his dad in his corner. Also he unified interim belts and had more interim belts than world title belts.... very impressive

You don't get what he was saying?

Guerero was on HBO/Showtime at least 10 times before he fought Floyd and was a multidivision titlist.

Ortiz was on HBO at least 5 or 6 times and he was being groomed as someone and Berto was a more highly thought of guy than Alvarado.

He is better because he lost at least 8 rounds to Bradley?

It's not that they're are not great fighters because all 3 of them are it's the fact that it's been recycle over and over and over. How many times are we gonna get to see PAC and Marquez go at it?? Besides Bradley and Marquez ruslan is the only fighter PAC hasn't fought aside from sparring but the thing is ruslan is train by roach also.

So before, it was **** like "Rigo hasn't fought anyone so he doesn't deserve a Donaire fight."

Now, it's all about network appearances. Times have changed.

If he's pulling in numbers who gives a **** how many times he's been on the network.

You see it as Ruslan lost 8 rounds to Bradley and I see it as he got robbed of 3 KDs and beat the **** of an "elite" guy who already Pacquiao.
