In addition, Cotto dictates the terms or no fight for canelito. Period. This kid has one name on his resume with a boatload of hype. ***n disliking this kid more n more everyday. Schooled completely but givin marching orders wtf...earn son earn mijito....Cotto did. U should too.

Plain and simple more people will show up to see Canelo fight than Cotto and I know this from expierience.

It's A 3 Fight Deal Canelo; Then Line Up Cotto, Martinez & Gennady For 2014!

If you mow thru those three come 2014, you're fighter of the year. I really banked on you and thought you were ready for Prime Time, then I watched you walk around the ring with Mayweather and act like you should be on Friday Night Fights. So earn your keep and blow thru Cotto, Martinez and Gennady. Sergio should be the weakest link; Cotto & Gennady, that's saying something if you get thru those two convincingly.

He might can dictate to Sergio but Canelo is another ballpark nevermind that canelo is going to beat his ass if they ever do fight.
Which was a sellout. Clearly could have sold more. Just because he's had one PPV where he got completely dominated by the bigger name and far better fighter doesn't mean he dictates to the rest of the world what his terms are. There aren't many that are bigger than Canelo, but Cotto is one of them.

Cotto is going to chase history and fight Sergio. He doesn't need canelo.

Pretty much. Canelo is going to have to look elsewhere for an opponent.

Cotto-Rodriguez did better TV numbers than Canelo-Trout. Weird.

He should just fight Lara, but he'll just continually avoid that one.

who and name them there's Floyd then Manny after that Canelo and Cotto are fighting for #3 which why I say its a 50-50 fight. If you want to say Cotto has done more than yep I right there with you. I have a hard time naming a more popular fighter than Canelo P4P nothing that happened vs Floyd ruined his image in my eyes.

People keep bringing up that 40k but never mention how cheap the tix were. I went to that fight, paid 200 dollars and got REALLY REALLY good seats.
200 dollars at a Mayweather,Cotto or Pacquiao fight gets you nosebleed seats at best.

Cotto is more known. Has sold out MSG a bunch and has headlined PPVs. They deserve 50(50. And idk what canelo is getting all hype about. You just lost handily on the biggest stage of your career. With a 15 lb weight advantage and a 13 year youth advantage while proving that your dominance was the result of careful matchmaking. He needs to fight better opposition, or move up to 160.

Cotto lost to Floyd handily just like Canelo and Trout who Canelo beat just before he became a killer again by beating Delvin Rodriguez.
