Comments Thread For: Wilder Talks Tyson Fury, 2014 Title Shot, Klitschko Fight

LONDON ?Knockout heavyweight sensation Deontay Wilder has earmarked a world title clash with one of the Klitschko brothers early next year before crossing the Atlantic to take care of brash-talking Tyson Fury.

The ‘Bronze Bomber? who has sent shockwaves through the heavyweight division after laying out all 29 of his past opponents, returns to the ring this weekend to face Nicolai Firtha on the undercard of Bernard Hopkins?world title defence against Karo Murat in Atlantic City.

Speaking exclusively to BoxNation, the imposing 6ft 7in bruiser from Tuscaloosa, Alabama has his sight firmly fixed on becoming the next heavyweight champion of the world by dethroning the current kings of the division ?the Klitschko brothers ?who he believes have their vulnerabilities.

He'll win a title without fighting either of the Klits.
WBC about to lose their titlist and somehow he'll get a shot over Stiverne.

If Wilder's punch really that devastating, Fury with that weak chin might be suspect, in that case Wladimir too.

What weak chin? Fury has been boxing at heavyweight since he was 16 and never been stopped, amateur or pro.

How is wilder ranked? He has not fought a top 20 guy yet? In boxing you have to fight competition to get better - Golden Boy should of upped his comp like thwy did with Seth Mitchell. So Wilder will know where he's at - if thwy put him in with Amir Mansour / Bryant Jennings / Chris Arreola / Derich Chisora / Thomas Adamek / kubrat pulev g toney thompson / etc .. and sadly I think he is ranked above all of the guys I just mentioned - what is wrong with boxing? This day and age for our aport is really hurting it! I have only seen Wilder fight like 2 times and I am not impressed - he only looks for an opening for the right hand - someone like chisora who can eat a good right a good right to get inside will take Wilders confedance and soul - Chris arreola / bermaine stevens will KO him - you need rounds and different looks to grab that heavy weight title not just a machine behind you - the squared circle always reveals the truth !

He's been to the deck before.

Fury was damn near stopped by a cruiser. IF Wilder lands too many of those right hands, he'll knock Fury's block off.

If Cunningham can put Fury on his butt, I think it's fair to assume if Wilder lands, he can do the same, lol.

A Fury-Wilder bout is one of the few HW fights I am really looking forward to.

Just for the inevitable Yank-Limey shenanigans that will take place on here.

                    Yeah.

Because Fury is in the same league as Lennox Lewis.
