Trust me Canelo wont take an exchange as he did if it was Cotto.

Canelo also ran out of steam way to quick during the exchanges.

Hopefully we see a fight with Cotto by end of year.....

I agree. If Alvarez engages in a slug fest with Cotto like he did tonight, Cotto will KO Alvarez. If Alvarez can get hit that much by a C+ level fighter, Cotto will scorch his ass. If Alvarez engages in a boxing contest with Cotto, Cotto will outbox him. Either way, Cotto beats Alvarez.

Totally disagree. it was pretty obvisous he was covering while waiting for any opening to throw bombs. He didnt seemed gassed or exhausted that much.

It seemed Canelo allowed Kirkland to tire out when he went on the ropes and went on the defensive. Once Kirkland tired out, that's when Canelo started unloading on him. Also Cotto isn't throwing upwards to 90 punches a round like Kirkland, so Canelo can fight at a measured pace like he likes. Not sure who'd win but I'd give the edge to the younger, naturally bigger fighter in Canelo.
