Comments Thread For: Bradley Enjoying Paying Underdog Role Yet Again

Timothy Bradley actually likes the fact that he is an underdog again as his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez approaches.

The 40-year-old Marquez is listed as a slight favorite over Bradley, according to Internet sports books, in their Oct. 12 welterweight title fight in Las Vegas.

You look at this fight and you say that logic is Bradley will outpoint Marquez, but i just don't feel Bradley is good enough to box a perfect disciplined fight for the whole 12. Still JMM cannot sit back and let Bradley steal rounds. IMO Marquez should be more aggressive in this fight.

Marquez being aggressive will actually play right into Bradley hands and is out of Marquez comfort zone..

I think this fight will play out like that, but if I was Nacho,I would tell Marquez to stay back..Even if he get's behind on points,Bradley is a fighter at heart..He take the risk by coming in on Marquez which will give Marquez the opening he needs to land flush counter shots..

Marquez being aggressive and pressuring Bradley is what Bradley wants, and imo will be to Bradley favor..

...nope...just a *****ty actor...I saw a little bit of a 24/7 yesterday, he's trying too hard to be the "villain" in order to promote the fight...

This fight is actually quite interesting.

Do we get the insane slugfest brawler bradley or captain snooze boxing bradley.

I hope we get both as he changes up styles for whatever reason that still concussed wrecking ball of a head decides.

              should be decent fight

              .

yep thats why everyone wanted this fight because anything could take place at anytime.the first couple rounds will be slow im sure but around the 4th or so it should heat up. both guys are coming to win and have alot on the line so and that will reflect in the ring

I wouldn't call him an underdog, pretty even match if Timmy fights smart.
