For short change and no title, I can fight at whatever weight I want. I am not supposed to lose this fight, so I can do what I want. Uncle Bob and Uncle Sulemaine will grease everyone's palm, and I'll make sure I get the diuretics out of my system before the scheduled date!

chavez jr is easy to hate but i think its a little over done sometimes. his dad didnt get in the ring and beat his opponents for him. It was obvious he was way to big for 160 lets atleast wait and see how this plays out before we start bashing him. its no different then any other fighter coming in over weight just give the kid a chance

This situation is worthy of ridicule. He was fighting as a LHW at MW but has got too old to keep on draining, so now Arum putting up the $s so he can ignore the weight divisions altogether.

I can't see how anyone takes JCC Jr seriously after this. He'll probably be well into cruiser territory on fight night. He probably coulda been pretty good if he'd taken the sport seriously, but I guess he'll never fight a live body with less than a 15-20lb weight advantage.

Must be nice having a famous daddy.
Exactly! !!! He tipped the scales at 20lbs over the limit vs duddy and sergio. His fans don't have a problem with this but all fans of boxing should be outraged by this blatant disrespect for the division wt limits. This is all done to give jr an advantage he didn't earn. Bob arum has no shame.

I hear what your saying but this is not the first time he has done this. At what point is he held responsible? He used his wt advantage to batter duddy. At the same wt duddy would've out boxed him to a easy victory imo (im a huge duddy fan he worked so hard just to get beat on the scale) I am a bit biased vs jr because he gets away with this nonsense. His father was a true pro. Even if you didn't like sr you had to respect him. Not true with jr imo he deserves the bashing. Arum does too.

This is exactly why I never liked JR. To put it simple he tries to make up for his lack of skill by draining himself or cutting weight using diuretics so he can beat on smaller guys. What a bum JR is.

Chavez gets way too much hate, i like the kid and im a martinez fan. I find these issues entertaining if anything. He is actually humble and very entertaining in the ring.

Most of u guys just hating for the sake of it, or jealous coz you're not the son of a legend.
