GGG loses to Ward at 168, he'd be outclassed and outboxed.

GGG loses to Floyd at 154, he'd be drained, outclassed and outboxed.

I would like for him to fight Sergio, he's got a chance at winning the fight even though I still favor the aging injury prone Champion to beat Golovkin. Sergio, Barker, Quillen, these are the fights GGG should be looking at. I respect that he's willing to take a huge step up an entire division and challenge the best fighter north of 154 pounds but a white wash to Ward does nothing good for his career right now.

      This.

GGG is no where near ready for Mayweather or Ward. Aside from Macklin, his resume consists of bums just like Canelo. The only legit win from Canelo was Trout IMO and that didnt do $h1t to prepare him for Floyd. Even if they met in between at a catch weight of 157, I still see Floyd whooping GGG. Defense always wins games, no matter the sport. And with boxing, Floyd's the best south of 160 and Wards the best north of 160.

I hope they fight and I hope it's in Oakland so I can go.

          Nothing prepares you for Floyd.

Your predictions have been horrible! You picked Canelo and Matthysse and claimed Floyd was scared because he was wearing shades at the tour. Shut that down.

GGG is nice don't get me wrong! But understand Ward would be the bigger man here and would not need to have huge gloves or a big ring because he loves to fight on the inside. And if this fight does get made, and Ward destroys him (which we all know that will happen.)

Watch you disappear and resurface like you did for the Mayweather/Canelo and Garcia/Matthysse fight! I was looking for you when they posted the winners right after the fight.

I guess the pain of your boys losing was too much huh?

Mayweather would rather sprint through No Man's Land than step into the ring with Golovkin.

If team GGG did get Mayweather into the ring, Mayweather would have it stipulated into his contract that he'd be allowed to wear a jetpack.

Golovkin has more power and a slight reach advantage (73GGG-71Ward).

That said, Ward is a better technician, a better inside fighter, is stronger, a better boxer, has better defense.

Since GGG would most likely be the aggressor, his reach advantage wouldn't really matter. If he gets frustrated and drops his output, he'd get outboxed, if he tries to make it a war , I think he'll get tkoed.

Ward , by the way, is right. GGG hasn't done enough to be considered #1 at MW, he only beat one MW contender, a bunch of JMW's coming up for him, and a few old carrer WW's. It's not hating, it's simply stating the obvious.

And unlike Canelo, GGG is 31, older than Ward.

PS: When Ward said " I'm not a fan" it was in a context, he was saying "I'm not a (boxing) fan, I'm an active fighter", it was a legit statement, not an attack on Golovkin.

GGG isn't talking about Mayweather because he is being realistic. He knows he will never get that fight for multiple reasons i.e. weight, network etc.

As for his options at middleweight, they are very limited. Martinez is past his best and Lou DiBella wants no part of GGG when he can set up HBO PPV fights with average-good middleweights. Goldenboy isn't going to let any of there fighters go near GGG and so he's left with 'bums' to demolish.

As for a GGG-WARD fight, the fight will be a lot closer than most people think and I would favor GGG as long as the fights not in Oakland.

If Gennady can't find real fights at 160, I would love to see Froch - GGG. I think that would be an epic fight.
