Elite is a term not many people use correctly. Being elite isn't about wins/losses, it's about skills. There aren't many Elite fighters. Currently, it's only Mayweather. He's really the only one in that category as much as it sucks to say because who doesn't like having a plethora of elite fighters to watch from time to time.

As much as I've tried to disprove it, Mayweather is the absolute best fighter ever. At least so far. He *****s so many people in so many categories in the course of the last 50-60 years of boxing that its insane to even compare him to anyone else or even say he will lose to so and so.

I think Cotto wants to retire but doesn't for a while because he feels like he still has it, when hes past it a while ago. He's probably going for one more super fight and then calling it a day on his career shortly after UNLESS he can somehow get a Mayweather rematch.

Broner is a ****ing bum, he makes so many mistakes its ridiculous. He didn't even think he won the Malignaggi fight, he just tries to play it off like he was cool and knew it. Really he was ****ting his pants. Malignaggi got robbed but I'll say I do see why people thought it was close, I just REALLY disagree with that bull. I really don't get what people see in this guy.

Malignaggi is such a gangsta, the way he handled himself all throughout the Broner build up and the fight itself. He really exposed Broner, it really made me relook his career and realized hes a much realer dude than people give him credit for. Lately, I've just been impressed at Malignaggi's knowledge (commentating) and his performances. I really used to dislike this guy, thought he was a clown and everything but come to see he's not half as bad.

As great as Marquez is, Bradley somehow beats him and goes on to fight Mayweather some way.

Pacquiao fights really hard against Rios but comes up short...OR he makes a huge comeback, murder spree, beats Rios - Bradley - Marquez all in a row and lands a fight with Mayweather in September 2015 for both their last fights. Otherwise he's been done since he won against Cotto in 09.

Maidana beats Broner up real good.

Khan wins against Alexander and gets a fight with Mayweather only to get outclassed/knocked out.

Ortiz makes a strong comeback. Then goes on a killing spree. Finally giving Berto a rematch only to overwhelm Berto again and send him into retirement/obscurity. Then fights Lopez and beats the piss out of him worse than the first fight. Tackling Maidana and beating him. Just to not land a rematch with Mayweather, instead fights Broner in a ppv where he handles himself much better than he did against Mayweather. Then goes on to fight Guerrero, Bradley, Khan and hopefully Rios before finally moving to 154 for the no competition that'll be left in coming years.

Mayweather will fight Martinez. I only say this because Martinez said he's hunting Mayweather down, I'm assuming he sticks by that after he gets this tune up fight out the way or something.

Matthysse fought a decent fight against Garcia but ultimately, it wasn't Garcia that really beat him, he just beat himself. If Matthysse studies the tape, he can make a strong comeback in the rematch, if its immediate. If not, he's done.

Andre Ward is going to lose to Edwin Rodriguez.

Robert Guerrero sucks. Decent fighter, that's it.

Same goes for GGG...I won't say he sucks but I don't see whats so great about this guy either.

Jorge Linares is the truth. At least he could've been.

Tin Bradley's defense and general skills are average at very best.

That seems to be unpopular on here.

Castillo was not robbed against Floyd in their first fight.

Martinez vs. Paul Williams 1 could have went either way.

Judah won the third round against Floyd.

Collazo was not robbed against Hatton.

                Hopkins did not beat Calzaghe.

                Larry Merchant is idiotically biased.

The concept that Tarver was "robbed" against Roy Jones Jr. is a joke, Roy won. Pre-Ruiz RJJ also whoops Tarver easily for that matter.

Max Kellerman is actually a pretty good boxing analyst, the people who don't like him are the ones who are fans of the fighters Kellerman is not biased towards. (He is biased I admit, but I believe HBO influences that).

Augustus/Burton wasn't even close to winning a single round against Floyd. He just had this amazing ability to absorb ridiculous amounts of punishment which made Floyd work really hard. Aside from that, he didn't land a great deal of good punches.

Wladimir Klitschko would have put up a good showing against Ali (would not have won).

Broner vs. Quintero should have been a draw.

Berto isn't a bum. He was just overhyped by HBO.

1970s Foreman would have destroyed Lennox Lewis.
